Oakland is Pittsburgh's university district, full of campus halls, labs and the research groups behind the city's robotics and tech scene. Live printing works with this crowd when the design means something to them, and each shirt still takes about two minutes.
Campus venues trade paperwork for access problems. There's usually no show contractor, but the freight path can be a side door, a passenger elevator and a long corridor, so we confirm which door the cart uses and that the building is open at load-in. Student crowds arrive in waves between classes, which shapes how many presses we bring.
Stations for an Oakland crowd
- Live screen printing for orientation days and club events with one design.
- Live DTF for fine technical line art a lab group will wear.
- Live hat bar for alumni and donor receptions.
- Promo & hard goods for totes and tumblers in a conference bag.
Off campus, the North Shore handles game days and the South Side nightlife, while Downtown & Convention Center and the Strip District take conventions and lofts.
About 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. In older campus buildings, check that those circuits aren't shared.
