We ship the presses to your venue and print on the floor while guests watch. For a Pittsburgh date the kit leaves our Fullerton shop by freight, the crew flies in the day before load-in, and once the line opens each shirt takes about two minutes.
A Pittsburgh job, start to finish
- Brief and art. You send the date, the venue, a headcount and your artwork. We proof it and make the screens or transfers at the shop. Art should be final about a week out.
- Freight and flights. Pittsburgh is 2,120 miles from Fullerton in a straight line. Presses, dryers, blanks and tables ride freight, and the printers land a day early so a late truck never cuts into your doors.
- Load-in and a test pull. At the David L. Lawrence Convention Center that means a dock time from the show's contractor. In a Strip District loft it's usually a freight door and a lift. The station is built and a test shirt printed before guests arrive.
- The live run. Guests pick a design and a size, watch it printed, and walk off wearing it. When your program ends we strike and pack the return freight.
Those four steps hold in a PPG Paints Arena suite, a Downtown hotel ballroom, a maker space in Lawrenceville or a tent on the North Shore before a game. Winter changes the load-in more than the printing: a January date means cold cases and wet sidewalks, so we leave extra time at the door. Moving a date is easiest with two weeks' notice because of the freight. Tell us about your event and we'll sketch the setup.
