Give a Pittsburgh date six to ten weeks. The kit crosses the country by freight truck from Fullerton and the crew flies in the day before, so shipping and the venue's load-in schedule set the calendar. Press time doesn't.
What the lead time pays for
- Freight on a normal schedule. Presses and blanks cross the country without a rush.
- Art and blanks. Final art is due about a week out and blank orders lock around the same point. A headcount that keeps moving delays a job more often than our calendar does.
- Your venue's paperwork. Convention center power orders and dock times have deadlines of their own.
- Hotels and flights. When a big game or show is on, rooms tighten across Pittsburgh at once. Booking around those weeks is the cheapest decision you can make.
Under six weeks? Ask anyway. Simple art and standard blanks are what make a quick turnaround possible, though the travel line is friendlier with notice. Moving a date is easiest with two weeks' warning because of the freight. For a convention center booth planned months out, we'll hold the date. Send your date and headcount and we'll confirm within 24 hours.
