A flat 10×10 ft patch per station, two dedicated 120V circuits, and a way to roll road cases in. We bring everything else.
The Pittsburgh room checklist
- Floor: about 10×10 ft per station plus room for a line. In a Strip District loft the line often needs more thought than the station does.
- Power: two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. At the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, order them through the show's contractor before the advance deadline. In a hotel ballroom, confirm the circuit isn't shared with catering. Outdoors, tell us what the generator can really carry.
- Access: a dock, a freight elevator or a ramp, and the move-in window in writing. Older buildings and campus halls in Oakland can mean a side door and a passenger elevator, so we ask early.
- Weather: a roof over the press for any outdoor date. A July riverfront lawn needs shade; a cold tailgate needs a windbreak and a dry corner.
